Each year the bull elk regrow a new set of antlers.  If the antlers are not cut off, either in the soft stage (velvet) or as hard antler, they will naturally fall off when the new set starts to grow.  We take this hard antler and cut it into short pieces which make ideal "bones" for dogs to chew on.  They are indestructible, won't splinter and make a safe, all natural treat/chew that dogs really love!
